Privacy Policy
Effective Date: July 17, 2024 · Last Updated: September 1, 2026
AUTOLASTIC ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting the privacy of visitors to our website and users of our platform. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit autolastic.com or use our services.
By accessing our website or using our services, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
1. Information We Collect
We may collect the following categories of information:
- Contact information — name, email address, phone number, and company name you provide when filling out forms or contacting us.
- Account information — credentials, profile details, and preferences associated with your AUTOLASTIC platform account.
- Usage data — pages visited, features used, timestamps, IP address, browser type, and device information collected automatically when you interact with our website or platform.
- Communications — messages, emails, text messages, and call records or recordings associated with your contact with us.
- Messaging consent records — where you opt in to receive text messages, we record the mobile number you provided, the date and time of your opt-in, the IP address it was submitted from, and the exact consent wording you agreed to. We retain these records to demonstrate that your consent was properly obtained.
- Payment information — billing details processed by our third-party payment processors. We do not store full payment card numbers.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain our services;
- Respond to your inquiries and fulfill your requests;
- Send transactional communications (e.g., account confirmations, service updates);
- Send marketing communications where you have opted in or where permitted by law;
- Send text messages and place calls to the number you provided, limited to the categories of message you consented to receive (see Section 5);
- Improve and personalize our website and platform;
- Analyze usage trends and monitor the performance of our services;
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.
3. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to enhance your experience on our website. You may control cookie settings through your browser. Note that disabling cookies may affect certain functionality. We may use analytics services (such as Google Analytics) to understand how visitors interact with our site.
4. Sharing of Information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. Mobile numbers and text messaging consent are subject to the additional restrictions in Section 5, which override anything in this section. We may share your information with:
- Service providers — third parties that help us operate our business (e.g., cloud hosting, email delivery, payment processing, analytics). These parties are contractually obligated to protect your information.
- Legal authorities — when required by law, subpoena, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of AUTOLASTIC, our users, or the public.
- Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of our assets.
5. Text Messaging, Calls, and Mobile Information
Mobile information sharing
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing with subcontractors in support services, such as our customer relationship management and messaging platform providers, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
How we obtain consent
We send text messages only to numbers that have opted in through a form on our website, in writing, or by another verifiable method. Our opt-in checkboxes are never pre-selected, and consent to receive marketing text messages is never a condition of purchasing any product or service. You may consent to service and customer care messages, to marketing messages, to both, or to neither.
Program details
Message frequency will vary. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help or STOP to cancel. Full program terms are set out in our Terms of Service.
Opting out
You may opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message we send you. We will send a single confirmation message and then stop, except for messages you separately requested. To opt out of phone calls, tell the representative on the call or email us at legal@autolastic.com. Opting out of messages does not remove your account or stop essential transactional email about services you use.
Calls and recording
We may call the number you provide to respond to your inquiry or to discuss our services. Calls may be monitored or recorded for quality, training, and record-keeping purposes. Where the law of your jurisdiction requires the consent of all parties to a recording, we will notify you at the start of the call and you may decline to be recorded or end the call.
6. Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this policy, provide our services, and comply with applicable legal obligations. When your information is no longer needed, we will delete or anonymize it.
Text messaging consent and opt-out records are an exception: we retain them for at least four years after the consent is given or withdrawn, because we are required to be able to demonstrate that consent was obtained. Deleting your other personal information does not delete the record that you opted out.
7. Security
We implement industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. However, no transmission over the internet or electronic storage system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you;
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete information;
- Request deletion of your personal information;
- Opt out of marketing communications at any time — click "unsubscribe" in any marketing email, reply STOP to any text message, or contact us directly;
- Direct us not to sell or share your personal information. We do not sell personal information, and we never share mobile numbers or messaging consent with third parties for their own marketing.
To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at legal@autolastic.com.
9. Children's Privacy
Our services are not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have collected information from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete it promptly.
10. Third-Party Links
Our website may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites and encourage you to review their privacy policies.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy on this page with a revised effective date. Your continued use of our services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
12. Governing Law
This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions.
